Up Against It

That’s the very dishy French film director, Francois Ozon.

I’m a huge admirer of his good looks, subtle charm and some of his films including his classic short, A Summer Dress. Francois Ozon In Conversation was a last minute addition to The 49th Times bfi London Film Festival and I was very pleased to get a ticket.

I remember doing my best to relate to you–my listeners–the fullness of the experience but, as you can see, it’s really more of a visual thing.

Even though we only had one episode under our belt, we got a lot more ambitious with this, the second episode. Clocking in at, oh, 2 hours, 42 minutes (and 11 seconds, a whopping 55 minutes longer than the first episode), we really thought we had the hang of this podcasting thing. The Sean O’Neil Show is now officially relaunching as Up Against It. After several weeks worth of time in the planning and execution of this project, mostly spent toying around with this incredible WordPress application, we’re finally ready to start posting content.

First up, we’ll be re-posting previous shows to this feed complete with time code cues. Given the absurd length of these shows, this should help you to more easily locate the audio content you’re most interested in. (That’s the best we can do, folks!) Then we’ll start posting new shows and blog entries.

To find out what it’s all about…click on the About page (linked there or located near the top of the sidebar to your right, under Pages). Also, look for the site to change regularly over the next few weeks as we settle into this space.
